We had an amazing group getaway! Exploring McClain State Park and the Keweenaw Research Center was the highlight. The beds were super comfy, and the breakfast had plenty of options. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

However, the parking area was somewhat limited, which was a little inconvenient.

It was a commendable fit for shopping in Houghton with good value for the price. The Bonfire Restaurant exceeded my expectations with a beautiful view and friendly service. For a good meal, check out the restaurant on the top floor.

I had a lovely experience during my stay as I found everything from local shops to outdoor parks just a short walk away, making my exploration of the area extremely convenient and enjoyable.

Couple's Retreat with Fine Views

We got a waterfront room with amazing views of the Portage and enjoyed every minute of it! The breakfast was freshly cooked to order and honestly, nothing like the usual hotel garbage.

The newly renovated rooms were super comfy, and the views over the canal were stunning! The pool and hot tub were the perfect places to unwind after a long day. Loved the cozy lounge on the seventh floor with amazing views and live music during our stay.

We had a fabulous time exploring the outdoor beauty nearby, especially at McClain State Park along Lake Superior! The spacious room gave our family, including our young child, plenty of space to relax after exciting days. The breakfast selection was plentiful and delicious.

In my wife’s opinion, it would be great if the pool hours were extended for families who want more evening fun together.

The views from my One-Bedroom King Suite were amazing, overlooking the Portage Canal. Every morning, I enjoyed a made-to-order breakfast that was tailored just for me, and it was delicious! The friendly staff went above and beyond to, ensuring that I felt welcomed and cared for.
